Frequently Asked Questions

Direct answers. If your question is not covered here, contact us directly.

What does an insurance broker do, and what does it cost?

An insurance broker represents the client, not an insurance company. We assess your needs, compare offers across the market, negotiate terms, and manage your policy and any claims. Our remuneration is paid by the insurer as part of the transaction, so our advice carries no separate fee for you.

Why not approach an insurance company directly?

You may — though you would then see only that insurer's own offer, explained by that same insurer. Working with a broker gives you a market-wide view, with terms reviewed and compared by an advisor whose role is to represent you, including if a claim needs to be pursued.

How quickly can cover be arranged?

Straightforward personal lines, such as car or travel insurance, can often be arranged the same day. Corporate programs depend on the complexity of the risk, and we provide a realistic timeline from the outset.

What happens when I need to make a claim?

You contact us first. We confirm your coverage, advise exactly which documents are required, submit the claim, and follow up with the insurer through to settlement, keeping you informed throughout.

Which insurance companies do you place business with?

We work with licensed insurers in Qatar and, where relevant, regional and international markets. As an independent broker, no insurer has any influence over our recommendations.

Can you review insurance I already hold?

Yes. We regularly review existing policies for new clients — coverage, exclusions, and pricing — and advise honestly on whether to retain, adjust, or re-market them. If your current arrangement is sound, we will say so.

Do you serve both individuals and corporate clients?

Yes. We arrange personal insurance (car, home, travel, life) for individuals and families, and comprehensive corporate programs (property, liability, fleet, marine, group medical, and more) for organizations of every size.

How do I pay for my policy?

Premiums are paid to the insurer under the terms agreed at placement. We explain the payment options available for your specific policy before you commit to anything.
